Kirk Gibson set an example to me back in 1988. As I watched that ball rocket over the right field wall, I jumped out of my seat with incredible joy and excitement for his accomplishment and what it meant for all Dodgers fans. Now, 25 years later, I again feel the same emotions, but this time I am the batter, and I have just hit it out of the park!
